Frequently Asked Questions

Why Mythnology? It’s a hybrid of the words “mythology” and “technology”.  One requires a core of truth, the other is based on a belief system.  No, not that way – the other way ‘round.

Why publish a novel in serial form? There is a long tradition of serial novels.  All of the Sherlock Holmes works first appeared in serial, as did most of Dickens’ works.  Even Crime and Punishment first appeared as a serial in a magazine!

What do I get for my subscription? I cover that in a separate page.  You get to be the first audience of a new work written in a new and exciting way.

Is the $9.95 a one-time fee or monthly? It’s a one-time fee, like buying a book.

Can I get my money back if I don’t like it? No, I’m a struggling artist.  All sales are final.

Is Mythnology suitable for all audiences? Yes.  There will be no sex, violence, or swearing.  No, that doesn’t make it boring.

You reference Christian themes.  Are you slamming faith? Absolutely not.  This work is intended to be a an exploration of truth and faith in a way that I hope challenges both Christians and non-Christians alike.  It is meant to be provocative and illuminating without offending.  Reader reaction will help me steer that delicate course.

Do you know how it ends? I have an outline of Mythnology written out, and that includes the most likely ending.

Can you tell us how it ends? Um, no.  That would take away all the fun.

If you know how it ends, what will your readers be able to influence? The storyline of Mythnology includes many very rich topics that I hope are evident in the first 3 chapters.  There’s even more potential craziness in the secondary storyline I’ve picked out.  How this proceeds and where it goes will depend a lot on how the readers respond.  In short, the journey is the real destination – we’re not going by interstate, but over some very rough country roads.  Fasten your seatbelts.
